Multi-Station Cap Strip Slitting & Winding Machine
Slits calendered cord fabric into 10–25 mm cap strip and winds it linerless onto 16 or 24 stations at up to 50 m/min, holding ±0.5 mm on strip width.
The Pinshun cap strip machine slits calendered cord fabric lengthwise into narrow strips at the width the cap ply calls for, then winds each strip onto its own take-up station. Sixteen or twenty-four winding stations are available, plus two further stations that take up the trimmed edges.
Slitting is done with razor-blade knives and holds ±0.5 mm on strip width across the 10–25 mm range. Winding is linerless — the strip is wound without liner fabric — and every station runs under constant-tension control, with cap strip tension held at or below 10 N. Line speed is adjustable from 10 to 50 m/min.
The machine is built from a fabric let-off with liner take-up, a tension accumulator, the slitting unit and the constant-tension winders. Finished reels of up to Ø500 mm go straight onto the cap strip servicer of a single-stage or second-stage building machine.
