90° Fiber Cord Cutting Machine
Perforates, cuts, splices and winds fiber cord fabric into finished carcass ply — 90° cut, ±0.5 mm on width and ±0.1° on angle, at 22 cuts per minute.
The Pinshun 90° cutting machine produces carcass ply for radial tires. Fiber cord fabric is perforated across its full width, then cut to the width the tire specification calls for. The cut strips are lap-spliced end to end, the joint is covered with a rubber strip, and the finished ply is wound onto a trolley spool.
Cutting width holds to ±0.5 mm and cutting angle to ±0.1°, with width taper along the cut strip kept inside 1 mm and splice accuracy inside 1 mm. The guillotine knife runs at up to 22 cuts per minute and the winder at up to 40 m/min, with a straightforward operator interface.
Fabric rolls up to Ø1,300 mm and 3,000 kg are handled at the let-off, with cutting and splicing widths both adjustable from 200 mm to 1,100 mm. Wound trolley spools feed straight to the carcass station of a single-stage or first-stage building machine.

- 90° cut held to ±0.5 mm on width and ±0.1° on angle
- Lap splicing with 2–6 mm overlap and splice accuracy within 1 mm
- Guillotine cutting at 22 cuts/min, winding at up to 40 m/min
- Handles fabric rolls to Ø1,300 mm and 3,000 kg, 0.7–3 mm thick
- Cutting and splicing width both adjustable from 200 mm to 1,100 mm
